Showers and thunderstorms are expected in the Wyoming Valley this weekend.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 64 degrees as of 9:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fog/mist was reported.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon, with cloudy skies and a high near 76.

The chance for showers continues through the night, with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 53.

Sunday more rain is expected, with scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 11 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 64.

Sunday night there is a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55.
