Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Brussock, lifetime residents of Edwardsville, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 30. They were married in St. Mary’s Church, Plymouth, Pa.

Lenny Brussock is retired from the Citizens Voice newspaper after working 48 years in the newspaper printing profession. Lenny was also a long-time softball umpire for PIAA and ASA in the Wyoming Valley area.

Dorothy Brussock is retired from Konefal’s Restaurant after serving customers for 50 years.

The couple has five children: Barbara (Leo) Agresti, Harrisburg, Pa.; Leonard (Liz) Brussock, Littleton, Colo.; Larry Brussock, Aurora, Colo; Christine (Ray) Brussock, Harrisburg, Pa.; and Patricia (Jamal) Hampton, Philadelphia, Pa.

They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family describes the couple as two extraordinary ordinary people, a wonderful example of loving and supportive parents and grandparents.

A family gathering at Grico’s Restaurant celebrated the grand occasion.
