Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jones of Dupont celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Oct. 9.
Mrs. Jones is the former Kathy Ball, daughter of the late Gus and Evelyn Ball. She is employed by the Department of Environmental Protection, Wilkes-Barre, as a purchasing agent.
Mr. Jones is the son of the late Raymond and Rita Jones. He is employed by Reilly Finishing Technologies, Nanticoke, as a line supervisor.
They were married Oct. 9, 1982, in St. Francis Church, Nanticoke. The maid of honor was Karen Gallick and best man was John Gayewski, cousin of the groom. Bridesmaids were Dorothy Bagley, sister of the bride, Debbie Kernag and the late Hedy Sciamanna. Ushers were Ronnie Jones, brother of the groom, John Blihar, and the late Benji Evans. Flower girl was Hope Rinehimer, niece of the bride, and the ring bearer was Brian Ball, nephew and godchild of the bride. Soloist was Ella Ritz, sister of the bride.
The couple has two sons: Kyle, a senior at Kutztown University, and Patrick, a senior at Pittston Area High School and Wilkes-Barre Career and Technical Center.
Mr. and Mrs. Jones celebrated their anniversary with a cruise to Bermuda and the Bahamas.
