(AP) A Vermont town is considering cashing in on its "ultra-clean" water as a way to boost its economy.

The town of Bennington is looking for bottlers and distributors who may want to sell its water.

The director of Bennington's office of economic development says the town's spring at the base of the Green Mountain National Forest can provide over six million gallons of water a day but the community only uses about 10 percent of that.

Economic and Community Development Director Michael Harrington calls the spring an "untapped" resource that shouldn't be overlooked.
