(AP) North Dakota State head football coach Craig Bohl says he's taken the program as far as he can and it's time for someone else to take over the helm of the two-time Football Championship Subdivision winners.

Bohl is expected to be hired as the next coach at Wyoming. The school has scheduled a news conference at 5 p.m. EST Sunday "to make a major announcement."

Bohl appeared Sunday morning on his weekly coach's show on KXJB-TV. He said he planned to travel to Laramie, Wyo., on Sunday and added "there is no perfect time" for a coaching change.

It's not clear whether Bohl will continue to coach NDSU in the FCS playoffs. The Bison defeated Furman 38-7 Saturday in a second-round game.

Bison athletic director Gene Taylor did not return phone messages.
