On February 9, Lackawanna College hosted the Falcon Music Fest in the Mellow Theater, featuring the local band, MiZ, with opening act, The Mile High Club.

This ingenious concert event was conceived by the Lackawanna College Marketing Club, under the direction of the late Bill McNally, in an effort to raise funds to assist student athletes in their struggle to afford text books.

Thanks to the generosity of the concert sponsors Gabe Patricio of Patricio Enterprises, John Bennett of Devon Health Services Inc., Morgan’s Cleaning Service and Bold Gold Media, $20,000 was raised at this inaugural event, after expenses, and all proceeds will directly benefit the Student Athlete Book Program.
