Lackawanna County’s Commissioners and the “Art in the Park” committee members finalized the lineup of free Summer art activities for children ages 5-12 at the county’s parks.


Complimentary food, snacks and water will be available, and no registration is required. The programs will run from 10 a.m. to noon July 9 at Merli-Sarnoski Park, Carbondale; July 16 at Covington Park, Covington Township; July 23 at Aylesworth Park, Archbald; and July 30 at McDade Park, Scranton, where Doug Smith’s Dixieland All Stars will perform.
