RALPH P. ZIFCHAK, 75, of Harveys Lake, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Hospice Care of VNA, Heritage House, Wilkes-Barre. He was born in Harveys Lake on March 22, 1935. He was a son of the late Martin A. and Susan Svengros Zifchak. He served in the U.S. Army from February 1958 to February 1960. He was employed by Native Textiles, Dallas, until retiring. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, John; and a brother, Edward. Surviving is a sister, Wilma Guido, Luzerne; and several nephews and great-nieces and a great-great-nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville. A Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville. Interment is in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Courtdale. Family and friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m.
