WILKES-BARRE — A Warrior Run man has filed a medical malpractice lawsuit
against the Geisinger Clinic and two of its physicians.
   
Kerry Nesbitt of Front Street, filed suit against Geisinger Clinic, doing
business as Geisinger Medical Group, East Mountain Drive, Plains Township; Dr.
David J. Kolessar and Dr. David A. Nackley.
    Nesbitt claims Kolessar of East Mountain Drive and Nackley of Kenneth
Street, Johnstown, improperly diagnosed a shoulder injury he suffered in
October 1994, causing him to suffer intense pain for four months.
   
Nesbitt and his wife, Myra Ann, are seeking more than $40,000 in each of
six counts in the suit, which was filed Wednesday in the Luzerne County Court
of Common Pleas.
   
Drug, DUI cases see guilty verdicts
   
WILKES-BARRE — Two people were found guilty by separate juries Wednesday
in the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas.
   
Linda A. Watkins, 31, of McLean Street, Dupont, was found guilty on two
counts each of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to
deliver a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance. She
remains free on bail pending sentencing.
   
Kelly J. Moffett, 19, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., was found guilty of one count
of drunken driving and two counts of disorderly conduct. Judge Michael Conahan
ordered a pre-sentence investigation and said Moffett can return to Florida
pending sentencing.
