Frank T. (Zip) Horan, 77, West Pittston, died Aug. 3, 2008 at Wilkes-Barre General.
He was born in Pittston, son of the late Frank and Bessie Alpaugh Horan. He was a graduate of Pittston High School, class of 1950, and was formerly employed at American Chain and Cable Co., West Pittston.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former Elaine Hannon; son Frank and his companion, Teresa Boccalupo, of North Carolina; daughter Laura Trafford and her husband, Thomas, of Audubon; brother Joseph, of Pittston; two grandsons, Christian and Kevin.
Funeral was Aug. 6 from the Anthony Recupero Funeral Home, West Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, West Pittston. Interment, Mt. View Burial Park, Harding.
