Frances J. Belza Ruzzo, 81, of West Wyoming, died Saturday at Wyoming
Valley Health Care Center after a lengthy illness.
   
Born Sept. 2, 1921, in Keystone section of Plains Township, she was a
daughter of the late John and Domenica (Carnaveli) Mascelli. She worked for
Consolidated Cigars for more than 20 years. She also worked for Gina’s Pizza
and Victory Pig Pizza. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrow Church, West
Wyoming.
    She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gilbert; second husband,
Patrick; brothers, Joseph, Felix, Guerrino (Smiter) Enrico; and sister, Rita
Panatieri.
   
Surviving are her son, Richard Belza and his wife, Arlene, West Wyoming;
grandchildren, Richard Belza III, who resided with his grandmother in West
Wyoming; Leandra Belza Hosey, West Wyoming; Robert Belza, Exeter; her beloved
great-grandchildren, Curtis and Aubreanna Hosey; sisters, Elizabeth Mancini
and Emily Stella, both of Keystone section of Plains Township; Jennie Simko,
Swoyersville; brother, Raymond Mascelli, Forty Fort; and several nieces and
nephews.
   
Funeral services will be at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday from the Adonizio Funeral
Home, Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30
a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrow Church. Interment will be in Denison Cemetery,
Swoyersville.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
