SEMI-FINAL GAME

Belrick Corp. 18

Gattuso Group 17

Belrick Corp. defeated Gattuso Group, 18-17, in the semi-final game to advance to the championship game in the Dallas Youth Basketball League.
Paul Zablotney scored 13 points to lead Belrick Corp., Jason Anderson and Josh Holdredge each hit a basket and Jake Weiland added a free throw. Steve Finarelli, Joey Chacke, Jonathan and Bradley Adams anchored Belrick’s defense.
Leading the scoring for Gattuso Group were Dalton and Mason Gattuso, combining for 13 points. Ricky Morgan added four points. Chris Allen, Frank Weaver, Jacob Serafin, Connor and Ryan Phillips played well defensively.
CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES

Drs. Kovalick 23

DeLuca Law 20

Drs. Kovalick defeated DeLuca Law, 23-20, to advance to the championship game. Lee Eckert scored 11 points to lead the Doctors, Jacob Stritzinger had seven points, John Macey and Cole Wyffels rounded out the scoring. Andrew Kovalick, Eric Dereemer, Alosha Ackerman and Matthew Magnotta played great defense.
Nico DeLuca scored 19 points for DeLuca Law with Colin Pertl adding a free throw. Mitch Winters, Stone Manello, Dylan Lisnow, Hunter Resavage and Paul Hurn all played well defensively.

Paul Zablotney scored 23 points and Jason Anderson had 14 points, leading the offense for Belrick Corp. Josh Holdredge added a basket while Bradley Adams hit a free throw. Jake Weiland, Jonathan Adams, Steven Finarelli and Joey Chacke anchored the defense for the champs.
Drs. Kovalick was led by the offense of Lee Eckert’s 16 points and Jacob Stritzinger’s six points. Andrew Kovalick, John Macey, Eric Dereemer, Cole Wyffels, Alosha Ackerman and Matthew Magnotta played well for the runners-up.
