Robert M. “Kozy” Kolmansberger of Mehoopany, died October 17, 2010 in Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

He was born in Pittston on March 16, 1953 son of the late Vincent and Dorothy Williams Kolmansberger. He was a 1971 graduate of St. John Evangelist High School in Pittston and attended Kings College. He retired from the Proctor and Gamble Plant in Mehoopany after 28 years of service and served as a substitute mail carrier in Meshoppen. He also worked for a short time at the Kane Warehouse in Meshoppen.

He was also preceded in death by a sister Janet McHale.

He is survivied by his wife of 10 years, Heather Shields Kolmansberger; step-sons Jacob and wife Allyson Blasure of Grand Forks, ND; and Mathew Blasure of Tunkhannock; step-daughter Lenay Wolf and husband David of Wysox; brothers, James and wife Carol of New Cumberland; John and wife Barbara of Toms River, NJ; sisters Dorothy Reilly and husband John of Camp Hill; Peggy Lemoncelli and husband John, of Archbald; Joan Cituk and husband Bob of Hollywood, MD; and Jane Dessoye and husband Bill of Pittston; and five step-grandchildren.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock.
