The Wyoming Area Tennis Booster Club will hold a fundraiser to help refurbish the school district’s tennis courts. Repairs to the courts have been estimated at over $100,000.
The fundraiser, “Cruise for the Courts,” will be held on Aug. 9 and will feture a motorcycle run, a poker run and can after-party. The Motorcycle Run will have sign-ups from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Donut Connection on Wyoming Avenue in Exeter. Cost to ride in the run is $15 for riders, $10 for passengers.
The run will have stops at Indian Lake Inn, Grotto Pizza in Harveys Lake, Quaker Steak in Dickinson City and a final stop with an after-party from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in West Pittston. Cost of the after-party is $10 which includes all-you-can eat and drink, live music by “NO VACANCY” and prizes.
