BENSALEM, Pa. (AP) — Police are searching for a driver who fled after a sport utility vehicle plowed into a suburban Philadelphia home.

WPVI-TV (http://6abc.cm/23ulXac ) reports that the crash in Bensalem in Bucks County happened just before 5 a.m. Sunday.

Police said the SUV hit an embankment, went airborne, tore through a yard and struck a shed before crashing into the house.

Homeowner Barrett Davis told the station that his wife was sleeping just feet away on the first floor. She was taken to Aria Torresdale with chest pains but is expected to be all right.

Davis said the driver actually got out of the vehicle and told his wife to call 911 before running away. He said the couple was in the process of selling the house and moving to Virginia.
