Florence Carter

Florence Carter, 98, of Berwick, formerly of White Haven, died Monday at
the
Berwick Retirement Home, BerwickBorn in White Haven, she lived in the area
for most of her life moving to Berwick six years ago.
She was the daughter of the late William and Emma Keiper Nicholson and was
the owner of the Rose Bud Inn in Dennison Township for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, in 1961; daughters, Mabel
Klingerman and Alberta Yonconish.
Surviving are a daughter, Alice Yonconish, Long Island, N.Y.; two
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Leo P. Lehman
Funeral Home Inc., 403 Berwick Ave., White Haven, with the Rev. David Harvey,
pastor of Mountainview Community Church in White Haven, will officiate.
Interment will be in Laurel Cemetery, White Haven.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
