Angelo Rizzo

Angelo F. Rizzo, 71, a resident at the Apollo Apartments, Pittston, died
Saturday at his homeBorn August 29, 1925, in Pittston, he was the son of
the late Anthony and Sarah Castellano Rizzo.
He graduated from Pittston High School in 1943 and served as a private
first class in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was employed as an accountant.
He lived in New York City for 40 years.
He was a member of St. Rocco’s Roman Catholic Church, Pittston, and the New
York City Electrical Union.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Marion Pignatone in 1982.
Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Carmella (Millie) Cumbo and Mrs. Charles
(Sarah) Castellino, both of Pittston, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Graziano Funeral Home
Inc., 700 Township Blvd., Pittston Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial
at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Roman Catholic Church.
Interment will be in St. Rocco’s Cemetery, Pittston Township.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
