Police seek snow blower thieves
   
Cops say three men stole two snow blowers and then escaped after crashing
their pickup into a treeWEST PITTSTON- Police are searching for three men
accused of stealing two snow blowers from an Exeter Avenue business and then
escaped after a fiery crash.
    West Pittston Police officer Joe Campbell said three men pulled alongside
of Old Mill Pine in a 1979 or 1980 Chevrolet pickup and loaded two snow
blowers.
   
Campbell said the snow blowers were just delivered and the owner did not
have a chance to secure them outside the store.
   
Exeter Township Police Chief Tom Ksiezopolski located the suspects and
chased them to Sutton Creek Road near Riverview Village. The pickup crashed
into a tree and the suspects fled.
   
Police said the pickup caught fire in the crash and the snow blowers were
damaged.
   
Police said the first suspect is a white male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall,
weighing 270 pounds, with blond hair and wearing an orange shirt and blue
jeans. The second suspect is a white male, 6 feet, with brown hair and wearing
a flannel shirt and jeans. There was no description of the driver.
