KINGSTON — Police say they nabbed a drug dealer and seized heroin and crack cocaine while raiding his Kingston apartment Friday morning.

The Kingston Police Narcotics Unit and other Kingston police officers working as members of the state Office of the Attorney General’s Luzerne County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Apartment 210 at 216 Wyoming Ave. just before 11:30 a.m. and arrested resident Joel Krzywicki, 31.

Police say Krzywicki had been the subject of a month-long drug investigation during which he allegedly sold crack cocaine and heroin to confidential informants and others.

Officers found Krzywicki in the apartment, which they say was littered with empty heroin bags, used needles and other drug paraphernalia, along with amounts of heroin and crack cocaine.

Krzywicki was charged with delivery of cocaine, delivery of heroin, possession with intent to deliver cocaine and heroin, criminal use of a communications facility, possession of heroin and cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned before District Judge Paul Roberts and was jailed at Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $75,000 bail.

Police said additional charges will be filed against Krzywicki in the near future in relation to the investigation.
