WILKES-BARRE — A New York man is wanted in connection with an alleged assault on Dodson Lane late last week.
Police are seeking Kenneth Williams, 22, of Staten Island. No description was provided.
According to city police, a 17-year-old female, also from Staten Island, told officers that she was in town Friday night to pick up her juvenile child who had been visiting the area with the father.
A domestic dispute occurred, the woman told police, and Williams struck her, she said. The victim did not need or request EMS at the time of the report.
The suspect was not at the scene when police arrived and his whereabouts are unknown. Charges of simple assault have been prepared and an arrest warrant has been issued.
