WILKES-BARRE - A Plains Township man pleaded guilty to having sex with a 12-year-old girl and sending nude photos of himself to two girls.
David Davis Jr., 20, of Wyoming Street, pleaded guilty to unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and dissemination of sexual materials.
Luzerne County Judge Fred Pierantoni III said Davis will be sentenced on June 7.
Plains Township police said Davis had sex with a 12-year-old girl in woods near the Leo Solomon School Complex on June 6 and used a cellphone to text nude pictures of himself that were viewed by a 10-year-girl and a 12-year-old girl on June 11, according to the criminal complaints.
WILKES-BARRE - A White Haven man pleaded no contest to charges he corrupted a child.
Jeffrey Keil, 38, of Dixon Lane, was charged by Rice Township police with having sex with a 16-year-old girl several times at his residence and at the girl’s home from Nov. 26 to Jan. 4, 2011, according to the criminal complaint.
Luzerne County Judge Fred Pierantoni III said Keil will be sentenced on June 7.
WILKES-BARRE - A man convicted by a Luzerne County jury of his fourth drunken-driving charge was sentenced Wednesday.
David John Wisnosky, 61, of Terrace Avenue, Exeter Township, received a sentence of one to two years in the county prison on a charge of driving under the influence.
A jury convicted Wisnosky of drunken driving after a trial on Jan. 23.
Exeter Township police said Wisnosky was driving a Chevrolet pickup while drunk on state Route 92 on Sept. 6, 2011, according to the criminal complaint. Wisnosky was driving with a suspended license.
Wisnosky had prior DUI convictions in 2002, 2005 and 2006, prior said.
Wisnosky’s driver’s license was suspended for 18 months and he is subject to driving a vehicle equipped with an interlock device for one year when his license is returned. He was ordered to begin serving his sentence on April 1.
