HANOVER TWP. — Two Hunlock Creek residents wanted by Wilkes-Barre city police for failing to appear in court for narcotics charges were arrested Saturday evening after township police pulled them over for an expired inspection sticker, police said.

Police said Bruce Long, 46, the driver, has a pending hearing before district Judge Rick Cronauer for possessing drugs with intent to deliver.

Police said Nancy Spelman, 29, the passenger, had 20 packets of heroin in her purse and was arraigned early Sunday morning on charges for possessing the drug with intent to deliver.
