John R. Kosick Jr., 51, of Exeter, passed away Monday evening, May 7, 2007, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born November 28, 1955, in Kingston, he was a son of John R. and Miranda (Peverelli) Kosick Sr. of Exeter.
Jack was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter, and was a 1973 graduate of Wyoming Area High School.
He was employed by Llewellyn & McKane Inc., Wilkes-Barre. Jack was a former president of the Wyoming Area wrestling team and president of the Greater Pittston Church and Business Bowling League.
He was involved in the Exeter Little League and the Greater Pittston Softball League.
He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, traveling, golf and taking long walks with his wife, Robin and dog, Bella. He especially loved his garden, cooking and enjoyed life.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kurt, who died in 1988.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, the former Robin Sands, with whom he just celebrated 30 years of marriage with on April 16, 2007; a son, Adam, of Exeter; brother, Cliff and his wife, Sandy Kosick, of Exeter; sister, Kim and her husband, Bill Mattioli, of Kingston; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
