Why do oil companies keep raising gas prices?
It’s because they have the power to get away with it and the lack of ethics to change. Who among us would do anything to lower our incomes if we had the chance to get more for doing less?

Aristotle Onassis said it best: Money is the universal measure of excellence and no one ever has too much excellence.
The only answer to this mess is to change our measures of excellence. For instance, like making the heroes of the world those who excel at being great friends, spouses and parents. Or how about teaching our children that winning is to be able to have a great time and feel good about yourself, regardless of the position you end up in the race?
The love of our children will never depend upon how much money or power we have. But it will have a great deal to do with how kind, compassionate and just we are. We all need to strive to be that kind of person.
If all human performance first were to be measured in terms of the good will it would bring, we’d have low prices on everything.
