Andrew M. Seder, a political and business journalist at The Times Leader, is taking on an expanded role as business editor.
In this role, Seder will oversee The Times Leader’s transition to a locally-focused Sunday Business section. He’ll also manage the flow of business news into The Times Leader and timesleader.com.
The new Sunday Business section will feature:
• Local stories and photos about our business community.
• News and photos of new hires and promotions.
• Photos submitted by businesses and business groups from their events.
• Calendar items for local business events.
• Columns from local experts on everything from estate planning to saving money.

Seder, who has won multiple Keystone Press Awards for excellence in journalism, has worked at newspapers in Northeast Pennsylvania since 1999 and resides in Gouldsboro.
Karen Yarrish, of Kingston Township, has been named vice president for strategic planning and human resources. Yarrish began her career at Keystone in 1998 as an assistant professor. She has served as chair of Keystone’s School of Business, Management, and Technology.

Attorney Joel S. Barras, of Kingston, has been promoted to partner. Barras, based in the firm’s Philadelphia office, graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 2003.
Dr. William Walker, obstetrician/gynecologist has joined to the medical staff of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Emory College, Atlanta, and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at York Hospital.

John Mulcahey joined the Munley Law team as a senior trial attorney. He earned his Bachelor and Masters of Arts degrees from the University of Scranton. He received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law where he graduated cum laude.

Dr. Timothy Bundy has joined the practice of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Dr. Bundy received his Osteopathic Degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at University of Kansas Medical Center.

Dr. Michael Fath has joined the medical group in family medicine. He received his bachelor’s degree from King’s College and his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia. He completed his family medicine residency at Wyoming Valley Family Medicine Residency Program, Kingston, where he served as chief resident.

Nicholas Parise, of Old Forge, has joined the company as a vice president and senior relationship manager.
A graduate of West Chester University with a bachelor of science degree in finance, Parise earned his MBA from Wilkes University and brings nearly a decade of local banking experience to PNC. He is also a graduate of the Pennsylvania Banker’s Association School of Commercial Lending.
