KINGSTON – Kevin Rea, the 12th president of Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School, was elected in April to a three-year term on the Board of the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools (PAIS). PAIS is a voluntary membership organization of private independent schools serving students in nursery/preschool through grade 12, upholding and enhancing educational standards in Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Rea also holds memberships in the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

Rea, who began his tenure as Sem’s president in July, 2015, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Providence College, Providence, Rhode Island, and Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in English language and literature from Oxford University. He also received a second Master of Arts degree in cultural and critical studies from Birkbeck College, University of London.
