King’s College has been chosen by the Academy of Management, an international conference, for presentation and recognized for distinction for a research paper on undergraduate business ethics instruction. This paper was co-written by Father John Ryan, C.S.C., president of King’s and former dean of the College’s McGowan School of Business; Joan M. Blewitt, assistant professor of business administration; and J. C. Blewitt, a 2007 graduate of King’s with a degree in accounting and a doctoral student at Saint Louis University.
Eric Joseph Esoda, President/CEO of NEPIRC, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center, was appointed to American Small Manufacturers Coalition (ASMC) board of directors. Esoda’s will join other new board of directors members from Michigan, Missouri, New York and Puerto Rico.
Attorneys Daniel J. Distasio and Michael J. Kowalski, of the Wilkes-Barre firm of Distasio & Kowalski LLC, have been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Association to be among the top trial lawyers in Pennsylvania. Both earned their juris doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law.
