    Anthony W. Yocius Jr., 62, of Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday at
the
   
Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-BarreBorn June 20,
1934 in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Veronica Goldman Yocius, Strongville,
Ohio, and the late Anthony Yocius Sr.
   
He attended Wilkes-Barre schools and served in the U.S. Navy during the
Korean Conflict.
   
Before retiring, he was employed by the Carter Footwear Co., Wilkes-Barre.
   
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph and
Leo.
   
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, the former Elma L.
Price Yocius; sons, Anthony W., Mountaintop; Mark, Wilkes-Barre; a daughter,
Beth Ball; brothers, John, Wilkes-Barre; Adam, Cleveland, Ohio; William,
Jenkins Township; sisters, Leona Flint and Bernadine, both of Strongville,
Ohio; Elizabeth, Rose, and Barbara, all of Wilkes-Barre; step-sons, Richard F.
and Guy Jerr, both of Connecticut; Clark Jerr, Maryland; a step-daughter,
Julie Verosky, Edwardsville; four grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; nieces
and nephews.
   
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from
the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre.
   
There will be no calling hours.
