Members of the Edwardsville AAC honored their veteran members, as well as all veterans, with a special Veteran’s Day lunch. Former member, Myron Mahalak, who recently passed, was recognized for his military service. The day included snacks, refreshments and entertainment provided by the barbershop quartet, Vocal Accord. Goodie bags were distributed and the Edwardsville AAC Crochet Club made and donated scarves and hats to St. Hedwig’s Veterans Village, in Kingston, on behalf of the center. Crochet Club members and veterans that were honored, from left, seated, are: Mary Sisky, Larry Ziemba, veteran; Carl Knopic, veteran and Joe Pikaitis.
