MADISON, N.J. — J.R. Lauri scored the game-winning goal with under a minute to play to lift the Misericordia University men’s lacrosse team to a 14-13 win at FDU-Florham in their Freedom Conference opener.
Lauri had three goals and two assists and Kyle Calabro added three goals and one assist.

King’s College notched a win over Arcadia in the Freedom Conference opener .
Pat Bonnot paced the offense with three points while Kevin Sweeney and Lenny Fox chipped in a goal and an assist each.

Laykin Hughes earned the win in the first game, scattering six hits through seven innings to preserve.

King’s College fell to Eastern in the first game doubleheader as Erin Beane was 4 for 4 with two runs in the Lady Monarch’s effort.

Katie Kowalski drove in the game-winning run on a two-out single in the sixth inning.
Amy Kowalczyk went 2 for 3 and scored twice. Annie Erndl struck out 11 batters in the game to earn the win.
WOMEN’S TENNIS King’s 8, Stevenson 1
The Lady Monarch’s swept all three singles bouts then captured five-of-six singles matches to post a victory over host Stevenson University.
Sara Lynn, Madeline Griffin, Emily Biffen, Katie Rossowski, and Nicole Molino were all winners in both singles and doubles for the Lady Monarchs. Liz Demko teamed with Biffen to register a victory in doubles.
