Anna Mishkin

Anna Mishkin, 89, of Wilkes-Barre, died unexpectedly Friday morning at her
homeBorn in Wilkes-Barre Township, she was the daughter of the late John and
Anna Handza.
She was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Main
Street, Wilkes-Barre and was educated in Wilkes-Barre Township schools.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas, who died June 7, 1962,
daughter Ruth, sister Elizabeth, and brothers, George, Andrew and John.
Surviving are son, Andrew, at home; daughter, Mrs. Franklin (Betty)
Hargraves, Bear Creek Township; and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, from the John V. Morris
Funeral Home, 625 North Main St., Wilkes-Barre, followed by services at 10:30
a.m. in St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Visoky,
officiating.
Private interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Paul Visoky
officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church,
665 North Main St., Wilkes-Barre.
