PITTSBURGH (AP) — Police say two men found in a car with a missing 17-year-old Pennsylvania girl had criminal records.

Allegheny County police have jailed 37-year-old James Molloy, of Clarks Summit and 47-year-old George Garulle, of Trenton, New Jersey on charges they concealed the girl’s whereabouts and other crimes. They were arrested Wednesday night after state troopers traced Garulle’s cellphone using GPS and stopped his car on Interstate 80 near Clarion.

The girl was last seen at her home near Pittsburgh on Monday.

Police say her cellphone shows she had been texting and sending Facebook messages with Garulle for days before he and Molloy picked her up.

Police say Garulle was wanted for New Jersey parole violations, and Molloy had a record for endangering children, among other crimes.

Neither has an attorney and both remained jailed Thursday.
