Eighth-grade students in the Holy Redeemer school system and surrounding areas recently took the placement test in preparation of the 2014-2015 school year. Students are awarded scholarships based on their scores on this test. Four Wyoming Area Catholic School students placed in the top 10 percent of all the students who took the test. Two students were also the top scores of all the feeder schools in the system. Charles Kulick, Pittston, placed first in the test and Megan Dillon, Exeter, placed second. Bryce Yencha, Laflin, and Ryan Januszko, Plains Township, were in the top 10 percent. Participants, from left, first row, are Dillon and Yencha. Second row: Eileen Rishcoff, principal; Kulick and Januszko.
