Two students from Penn State Wilkes-Barre received first place at the Entrepreneurship Institute competition. Ryan Kazokas, Kingston, an information sciences and technology major, and Nick Patel, Kingston, a computer science major, created and pitched their original product, EZ VetNotes, a hands-free schedule system (application) for small or large animal veterinarians. Their two faculty advisers, Frouke De Quillettes, senior instructor in information sciences and technology, and Timothy Sichler, instructor in engineering, worked very closely with the students in preparation for the competition. Participants, from left, Kazokas and Patel. Second row: De Quillettes and Sichler.
