MOUNTAIN TOP: American Legion Mountain Post 781 will have a meeting after the Home Association’s session at 7:30 p.m. June 14 at the Post home, 1550 Henry Drive.

Committees will give reports and other important business will be discussed. Nominations will be opened for anyone interested in serving as an officer of the American Legion. Nominations will be closed at the end of the meeting and the election will be held. Only regular members with a 2010 membership or PUFL card can vote. Membership dues for 2010 are now delinquent. Dues can be mailed to post adjutants, or delivered to the post home.

Applications for prospective members are also available at the post home.

PITTSTON: American Legion Post 477 will conduct an election starting at 9 a.m. to approximately 7 p.m. Wednesday at 203 Vine St.

All members are asked to vote in this very important election.

SHICKSHINNY: Mocanaqua Ladies Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Memorial Post 6434 will convene at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Shickshinny Senior Center, 19 W. Vine St.

Malvina will be the “Springer Bringer.”
