The GFWC West Side Women’s Club Public Issues Community Service Program recently completed an American flag donation project at State Street Elementary School, Wyoming Valley West School District. Individual classroom flags were donated the first year of the project and a large flag was recently donated for use in the school gymnasium. The Public Issues Community Service Program focuses on promoting good citizenship and increasing patriotism in the community.
