Cass Rupert, a 4-H member in the Hooves and Hoppers 4-H Club received a Luzerne County 4-H scholarship to further her post high school education. She was chosen based on her written application highlighting her involvement in 4-H at the club, county, regional, state and national level; evidence of leadership held in 4-H; community involvement and citizenship; and how 4-H has contributed to her personal growth. Rupert resides in Hunlock Creek and graduated from Northwest Area High School. She will be attending Liberty University this fall majoring in environmental science. 4-H is the youth development program of Penn State Cooperative Extension.
