The Wyoming Valley West School District participated in the regional meeting of the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science held recently at Wilkes University. Overall, the students earned seven first awards, seven second awards, a Perfect Score, Perseverance Awards and a scholarship for their projects in mathematics. First-award winners advance to the state competition to be held in May at Penn State University.
