The annual Harmony Concert of the Wilkes-Barre Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, in the Buckingham Performing Arts Center of Wyoming Seminary, Sprague Avenue, Kingston. Pre-concert entertainment and piano selections will be featured at 7 p.m. The theme is ‘Let’s Get Away From It All,’ featuring the Wyoming Valley Barbershop Harmony Chorus with guest quartet Up All Night and local chapter quartets. All tickets are general admission at $15 and are available by calling 570-285-4810, from chorus members or at the door. Members of the Sounds Abound chapter quartet, from left: Jim Morpeth, tenor, Wilkes-Barre; Joe Husty, lead, Wilkes-Barre; Tom Roberts, bass, Kingston; and Drew Smith, baritone, West Pittston. Other chapter quartets appearing will be Unaccounted Four and Here Comes Trouble.
