Two Holy Redeemer High School music students achieved the level of All-State Honors Chorus after competing in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association’s Regional Chorus. Ben Nause and Justin Prenga were selected to participate in state chorus in Hershey. Ben placed first in Tenor I and Justin placed second in Bass 2. Only the top four students in each voice level are selected for state chorus honors. Nause was also selected to participate in the National Music Educators All-Eastern Chorus in Providence, Rhode Island. He joined 350 students from the eastern region of the United States. Students practiced with conductor Pearl Shangkuan from Michigan and performed a concert at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium. Ann Manganiello is the chorus director at Holy Redeemer.
