Eighth-grade students at St. Jude School recently conducted the annual May Crowning ceremony. Devyn Boich had the honor of crowning a statue of Mary with a floral crown. The other eighth-grade girls served as members of the queen’s court. Each carried a single white and blue carnation in the procession and placed the flower in a special vase to form a bouquet. The eighth-grade boys served as escorts for the queen and her court. The entire student body was present for the celebration and eighth-grade students served as cantors and psalmists. Participants, from left, first row, are George Strish, Josh Gronka, Dean Limongelli, Tommy Shafer, Patrick Curley, Matthew DiGangi and Sean Murphy. Second row: Emily Thomas, Taylor Josefowicz, Madison Stoltz, Alyson Rymar, Devyn Boich, Grace Dacey, Katie Wills, McKaylia Ward and Valerie Soto. Third row: Adam Mahler, Austin Kane, Nicholas Ganter, Dominic Capaci, Matthew Hayden, Bryce Zapusek, Nathan Ragantesi and Ethan Hoda.
