The Osterhout Free Library recently received a $15,000 grant from the Sallie Mae Foundation to help teenage students gain higher educational opportunities. The funds were used to purchase a new, state-of-the-art microfilm machine to help students do research for their homework and special school assignments. Three new desktop computers were also purchased for the teen area of the library. New gaming equipment and teen programming supplies were also obtained through the grant. From left, seated, is Elaine Stefanko, information services coordinator, Osterhout Library.
