Piano students of Christine Leandri recently performed in two recitals and received special awards for performing in the National Piano Playing Auditions for six to nine consecutive years. The American College of Musicians hosts this annual event held throughout the United States, China, Japan and Indonesia. The competition was held at the Dorranceton United Methodist Church, Kingston. Alexandra Nockley, Mira Patel, Maria Khoudary and Christina Kasparalso received trophies for recently performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
