Senior Citizens Centers sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties offer hot noon meals Monday through Friday to people 60 years of age or older. Donations from participants are gratefully accepted and needed in order to expand this program.

The following is the menu for the week of July 1:

MONDAY: BBQ chicken, chuckwagon corn, mashed potatoes, biscuit, ambrosia salad, margarine, milk and coffee.

TUESDAY: Independence Lunch - Hot dog with roll, baked beans, potato wedges, broccoli salad, watermelon, margarine, milk and coffee.

WEDNESDAY: Roast pork with gravy, sweet potatoes, warm applesauce, whole wheat dinner roll, summer fruit crisp, margarine, milk and coffee.

THURSDAY: Independence Day - center closed.

FRIDAY: Turkey salad sandwich, rye bread, bean soup, cucumber and tomato salad, Oreo pudding cup, margarine, milk and coffee.
