Heights-Murray holds annual science fair

Heights-Murray Elementary School recently held its sixth annual science fair. Fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-grade students entered their science projects. They were judged by a panel of science professors and teachers from the area. The parents and the community were invited to view the science projects before the awards ceremony. Winning students, from left, first row: Angel Pesci and Selena Herrera, first place, sixth grade. Second row: Shoshanna Folk, first place, fifth grade; Chloe Sromovski and Kylee Warren, third place, fifth grade; Chase Leach, second place, fifth grade; Jamie Andrews, sixth-grade science teacher. Third row: Celestina Leva, first place, fourth grade; Brent Shurmanek and Emily Engle, second place, fourth grade; Keri Kosisky, Sophia Mattos and Austin Zabresky, third place, fourth grade.
