Falcons Pathfinder Club hosts disaster education program

The Wyoming Valley Falcons Pathfinder Club of the Kingston Seventh-day Adventist Church recently hosted a community disaster education presentation. Will Hontz from the Wyoming Valley Chapter of the Red Cross instructed children and adults on disaster and emergency preparedness. Topics included fire, extreme heat, storms, pet safety, emotional health, tornadoes and power outages. Future presentations will include child care and CPR. The Pathfinder Club is a Bible-based organization open to youth ages 10-15. Its sister organization, the Adventurer Club, is open to children ages 5-9.
