The Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company will hold a spaghetti dinner from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 at the fire hall, 329 Orange Road, Dallas. A basket raffle will also be held.

This event is to help defray medical costs incurred by Franklin Township Fire Chief Harry Sweppenheiser who was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident on July 22.

Sweppenheiser has served the community for over 20 years as a volunteer fireman and the past six years as chief of the Franklin Twp. Volunteer Fire Company.

Donation is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
