The Lithuanian Women’s Club of Wyoming Valley is celebrating its 85th anniversary. The club was founded in 1928 with a membership of 200 women. There are still more than 20 active members involved in the club. They meet each month for lunch at Boscov’s to discuss their Lithuanian heritage. Once a year they make a donation to a charitable organization. Anyone of Lithuanian ancestry or who is married to a Lithuanian or anyone who is interested in the Baltic State can join the club.
