Fortis Institute students tour HCR Manorcare

Medical assistant technician students from Fortis Institute, Forty Fort, recently received a tour of HCR Manorcare, Kingston. As part of their Study of Maturity course, students were shown various aspects of elderly care. Tour highlights included HCR Manorcare’s short-term rehabilitation residence, physical, occupational and speech therapy areas, dining arrangements, daily social activities and living arrangements for longer-term care and skilled-care residential areas.
