Falls seniors enjoy butterfly release

Members of the Falls Active Adult Center, sponsored by the Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne/Wyoming counties, recently enjoyed watching their first monarch butterfly release. Center member and master gardener, Pudgy Raymond, oversaw the butterfly project as part of her master gardener requirements under the Penn State Cooperative Extension. At the release, from left, first row, are Dorothy Sands,Donna Holeman, Art Haefner and Joe Negron. Second row: Phil Culver, Betty Swingle,Paul Luketich, Sharon Mangione, Al Mangione and Tom Rogers.
